Delhi To Taj Mahal- Travel (6 AM to 10 AM) and Sightseeing (10 AM to 12 AM)
We understand that visiting Taj Mahal is your main objective for making this trip, and we will make sure you spend most part of your day here. We don’t want to keep you waiting, and so, the Taj is going to be the first thing to visit in this same day Taj Mahal tour from Delhi. We’ll spend about two hours at Taj Mahal, click as many photos together as we can and will make sure nothing is left to explore in the entire premises.
After we are somewhat over the charm of Taj Mahal, we will visit yet another significant monument, the history of which is associated with Taj Mahal itself.
Agra Fort- Sightseeing (12 PM to 1 PM)
Agra Fort is located on the bank of river Yamuna, right across the Taj Mahal. Though originally built by Akbar, the fort has a prison where Shah Jahan spent the last few years of his life, admiring the beauty of Taj Mahal from its window. It’s the perfect place to see Taj Mahal from its creator’s own eyes. Besides, we will experience other parts of the fort, such as Khas Mahal and Sheesh Mahal.
Later in the evening, you may spend some time shopping at Meena Bazar market. As the sun sets down, we will be on our way back to Delhi, where we will drop you at the hotel with unforgettable memories of the symbol of love.
Lunch- (1 PM to 2 PM)
After a profound experience exploring the beauty of Taj Mahal and the Red Fort, it’s time to take a little rest and fuel up your body with a refreshing lunch at a local restaurant. Don’t worry, that’s not going to be the end of this trip. There’s more left to explore!
Itmad-Ud-Daula’s Tomb- Sightseeing (2 PM to 4 PM)
Post lunch, we will visit yet another magnificent monument of Agra, the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula. The breathtaking mausoleum is often described as “Baby Taj” for its beauty and resemblance to the Taj. Located on the banks of the Yamuna river, the mausoleum comprises a large cruciform garden, a beauty walkway surrounded by a water channel. Spend some time at the monument before we head back to Delhi.
Delhi- Travel and Drop-off (5 PM to 9 PM)
If you want to take a trip to the local market for shopping, you are free to explore the city. At 5 PM, we will be back in the car on our way to Delhi. Upon arrival, we will drop you off at either your hotel or at the airport and bid you adieu.
