Itinerary

Upon arrival at Cochin International airport, you will be greeted with a traditional Indian welcome and escorted to your prebooked hotel. Overnight stay in at hotel.

Cochin, popularly known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea” is situated on the South Western Coast of the Indian Subcontinent. Morning visit to Fort Cochin. The true character of the city is to be found in the older parts of the Fort Cochin area. This part of the city reflects an unusual blend of medieval Portugal, Dutch, and English country life grafted onto the tropical Malabar Coast Also visit Chinese Fishing nets. These nets popularly known as Cheenavala are one of the unique features of the city. . Visit the 16th century Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. We would visit 'Jew Town', in the Mattancherry section. The area around the Synagogue, known, as Jew Town is one of the main centers of the spice trade. St. Francis Church, and Jewish Synagogue. In the evening, witness the Kathakali Dance Show in an auditorium. As it enacts episodes from great Indian epics. The extremely stylized gestures, the elaborate make-up, the masks, and the splendid costumes of these all-male dancers, recreate an incomparable sense of pageantry. Overnight stay in hotel

Today morning proceed to Alleppey. Upon arrival board Houseboat “Kettuvallam” - a famous houseboat of Kerala. These magnificent vessels are a modified form of our traditional ‘Kettuvallom’ which has been in use for hundreds of years. Sail along with the winding network of Kerala backwaters, see the unique water world and experience its myriad charms. Spot colorful insects and butterflies flitting over flower bunch that adorn the lush green vegetation on the banks of the Kerala backwaters. Cruise through the unique web of lakes, lagoons, canals, and rivers. Enjoy overnight leisure stay in a houseboat also enjoy lavish lunch & Dinner at Houseboat.

This morning, after breakfast, check out from the houseboat and proceed to Kovalam beach. The Kovalam beach in Kerala offers the best facilities to its visitors like sunbathing, swimming, Ayurvedic massages, and plenty of other options. Day relax on the beach. Overnight stay in hotel.

This morning after breakfast, proceed to Thekkady ( Periyar wildlife sanctuary). Periyar, spread over an area of 777 sq km, has about 35 tigers and leopards. The park compromises a 26 sq km artificial lake and is the home of sambars, wild boars, elephants, and antelopes which can be occasionally seen on the banks of the river during a boat cruise. In the afternoon we shall take a boat safari on Lake Periyar to view wildlife. Evening free. Overnight stay in hotel.

Today morning after breakfast, proceed to Madurai. On arrival visit the magnificent Meenakshi-Sundareswara Temple. Of its 12 gopurams, four of the tallest stand at the outer walls of the temple. Also visit Thirumalai Nayak Palace. In the evening watch the night ceremony at the temple. Overnight stay in hotel.

Today, after breakfast proceed to Ooty. Upon arrival check into the hotel. The rest of the day is free. Overnight stay in hotel.

This morning after breakfast, explore Ooty. Located at 2240 m above sea level. The places of interest in Ooty include Botanical Gardens where the "summer Festival" is held each month of May. The artificial lake and Dodabetta Peak which is the highest point in the district at a height of 2623m. The rest of the day is free. Overnight stay in hotel.

Morning drive to Mysore. On arrival check in at the hotel. Later sightseeing tour of Mysore. Mysore as we see it today is most famous for the imposing Royal Palace with a magnificent Durbar Hall, particularly splendid during the Dussehra Festival when the Maharaja's jewelry, a studded gold throne (weighing 200 kgs) is on display. Chamundeshwari temple perched on a hilltop is 2000 years old, Nandi Bull half way to the hill is a 4.8-meter monolith. 19 km northwest of Mysore is the KRS Dam and the ornamental Brindavan Gardens. The musical fountains and colorful lights transform this place into a fairly land in the evenings. Evening transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

This Morning proceeds to Mysore. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Later explore Mysore. Mysore is most famous for the imposing Royal Palace with a magnificent Durbar Hall,
