Day 1 : Kochi | Arrival and Sightseeing

On Day 1 of our Kerala Tour Package, our representative will pick you up and drive you straight to the hotel for check-in. At the hotel, you will be welcomed with fresh coconut water as a traditional welcome drink. Take your time to gear up for the trip, where we will start with the famous St. Basilica Church and the Dutch Palace.

After this, we will return to the hotel for a delicious lunch. After resting for a few hours, we will go for a round-about of the Kochi Airport. Kochi has got some of the most well managed ports in India. Enjoy the lovely view of hundreds of small and big ships and boats waiting for their turn to touch the waters of sea.

We’ll return back to the hotel so that you can spend some time with each other. Dinner will be served in the hotel.

Day 2 : Kochi and Munnar | Travel and Sightseeing

The next day, after a healthy and tasty south Indian or continental breakfast we will set off to the beautiful town of Munnar. If you haven’t heard of Munnar before, it is a popular hill station of the District of Idukki (go look it up on Google). Interestingly enough, Munnar has been a famous summer resort ever since the time when the British were in India.

Due to this fact, there are several reminisces of that era that can still be seen in form of old buildings and houses in Munnar. With 3 rivers flowing in, the town offers a Savannah forest, scenic valleys, splashy waterfalls, sprawling tea – plantations and sky – and touching hills, an experience of nature that sings all around!

As soon as we reach Munnar, we will begin with visiting the tea plantations and then head over to the Tata Tea Museum to see the entire tea making process. This will take up the whole day. In the evening, we will return to the hotel for the dinner and night stay.

Day 3 : More of Munnar | Safari and Sightseeing

The third day will be all about exploring everything else in Munnar. In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit the Ervikulam National Park.

The wildlife at Ervikulam National Park is famous for being home to the endangered Mountain Goat of South India as well as the Nilgiri Tahr. In addition to these exotic animals, Ervikulam has diverse flora and fauna. You will come across epiphytic orchids, wild balsams, Nilgiri langurs, Indian Bisons, Leopards, Tiger and many more!

Also, the lunch will be at a resort in the national park itself. After lunch, we will visit the Matupetty Dam, Anamudi Peak and the echo Point. Later in the evening, you are free to rest in your room or do some shopping in the local market. This will be followed by a dinner and a relaxing night at the hotel.

Day 4 : Munnar and Kumarakom | Travel and Sightseeing

The next morning, soon after taking the breakfast at the hotel, we will be on our way to Kumarakom by road. Kumarakom is most famous for two things – it’s backwaters and Kettuvulumns! It’s a backwater hub located in a cluster of Islands on the Vembanand lake.

On reaching there, you will be welcomed by one the best Backwater Resorts in the area. After the refreshments, we will visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. We will enjoy the first half of the day exploring the wild beauties as they chirp all along. Lunch will be available at the resort.

After the lunch, we will enjoy water skiing/sailing. If you’re not feeling adventurous, you may also spend the evening in the Backwater Resort where the dinner and night stay will be scheduled.

Day 5 : Kottayam and Alleppey | Travel and Sightseeing

On Day 5, we will head towards Kottayam early in the morning. As soon as we reach Kottayam, we will get on the Kerala Houseboats, locally called Ketuvallums, and reach Alleppy. You will spend the whole day on the boat.

On the boat, you will be served dishes prepared in the houseboat kitchen made from the fish coming straight out of the fresh water. You may also enjoy fishing and cooking on the boat. Enjoy the day with fresh coconut water, filter coffee and sitting in the balcony of the boat as it moves with the flow of the Vembanda river. Enjoy dinner and over-night stay in the houseboat.

Day 6 : Alleppey and Kovalam | Exploration

Next morning, soon after finishing the breakfast, we will hit the road to reach Kovalam. On reaching there, you will check into the hotel and relax for a while.

At noon, we will visit the Kovalam beach to enjoy Water Sports like Surfing, Kayaking and Open Sea Water Swimming. This internationally renowned beach town comes with an added perk– Kerala Ayurvedic Therapies and Messages: the ultimate journey to body and mind relaxation. Ayurvedic messages are also internationally acclaimed for relieving pain from various ailments like migraine, spine, back pain and so on.

You will avail these services in the later half of the day at your hotel, which is fully equipped in offering such services. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 : Kovalam | Sightseeing

The next day, we will visit the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the 108 Vishnu Temples or Divya Desams of South India. The tour guide will tell you with all the historical facts about the place.

After that, we will move on to see Napier Natural History Museum and Sri Chitra Art Gallery, wgere you fill find original paintings by Raja Ravi Verma, Svetlova and Nicholos Roerich.

In the evening, after lunch, we will visit the Ponmundi Hill Station, which is filled with spice and tea plantations, waterfalls and mini zoo with Barahsinghas. For dinner, we will take a calming drive towards the hotel.

Day 8 : Kovalam and Trivandrum | Departure

On the last day of the trip, after having breakfast at the hotel, we will travel to Trivandrum by road to complete the last 16 kilometers of our tour. In the afternoon, we will see you off as you go back home with tons of memories of our trip together.
