Day 1 : Mumbai

Day 2 : Mumbai

Morning, one hour boat ride across Mumbai Harbour brings you to the lush green Elephanta Island. Here, visit some of the huge and intricately carved Elephanta Caves that date back to the 8th century. For rows of massive columns cut into solid rock from three magnificent avenues, lead to the outstanding three-headed sculpture representing Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver and Shiva the Destroyer. Dedicated to Shiva, the beauty and power of these phenomenal sculptures depicting the various manifestations of Shiva is overpowering. Afternoon, City tour of Mumbai – the great port city with its Victorian Gothic buildings from the British Raj Era mingling with the modern. The tour includes ‘Gateway of India’ overlooking the Harbour, the ‘Towers of Silence’, ‘Marine Drive’, the ‘Colaba Causeway’ – the commercial heart of Mumbai and the Dhobi Ghat, the unique and colourful outdoor ‘laundry’. Day 3 : Mumbai – Cochin – Periyar

Upon arrival at Periyar – check into hotel Periyar – Sprawling across 777 sq. kms. of the Cardamom Hills of the Western Ghats, Thekkady is the home to one of the largest wildlife reserves in India. Day 4 : Periyar – Kumarakom

Early morning boat cruise on the Lake of the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary to see wild life. Periyar – an artificial lake or reservoir created by a dam on Periyar River is the heart of the Wildlife Sanctuary wild elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black Buck and even Tigers come to shores of the lake for a drink. Return to hotel for breakfast After breakfast a guided walk around the Spice Village to see the various spices grown in the resort garden. Thereafter drive through the winding ” Ghats ” lined with prosperous tea plantations & then arrive the fascinating countryside of low-lying palms and paddy fields to Kumarakom enroute visit the tea estates. Kumarakom – is a beautiful backwater village on the shores of the enchanting Vembanad Lake, criss crossed with meandering waterways and ancient cottages. Day 5 : Kumarakom – Houseboat

Morning at leisure at Coconut Lagoon, taking a cruise on the backwaters in traditional country canoes called “vanjis” to see the agricultural activities of the local people living on the back waters. Visit also the beautiful bird sanctuary. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon board the traditional rice boats – Kettuvallam and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes relaxing in the tranquillity of Kerala’s beautiful scenery. Day 6 : Houseboat – Marari

Breakfast on board. Sail to Alleppey & disembark at Puthenangady Jetty. On arrival proceed directly to Mararikulam. Mararikulam – is one of the picturesque fishing villages that dot the lovely coast line of Kerala. This private, shallow beach is fringed with unending lines of coconut palms. Day 8 : Marari – Cochin

COCHIN – Popularly known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, Cochin is the oldest European settlement in India. Frilled with backwaters and rich with old world charm, this city has lured many a great voyager to its shores. Arrive Cochin & check into hotel Tour of Cochin or “Kochi”- the palm green, commercial capital of Kerala is known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea”. From time immemorial, Arabs, Chinese, Dutch, British & Portuguese seafarers followed the sea route to Kochi & left their impression on the town. Modern Kochi is thus a splendid mosaic of these myriad influences. Visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, the Church of St. Francis, the Bolghatty Palace & the famous Chinese fishing nets.

Afternoon, Harbour cruise – Cochin has one of the finest natural harbours. The backwaters extending to the east & south from the harbour are dotted with tiny islands, formed naturally by alluvial deposits from the rivers. Evening witness the Kathakali dance performance and make up demonstration – Kathakali is a unique dance which has a 2000 year old history with more than 100 different ‘mudras’ or gesture depicting deities, demons, heroes, heroines and kings – each based on episodes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana, the two epic Indian myths.

Day 1 – Delhi | Arrival

This is the day when you arrive at the land of spirituality, India. Welcome to our bustling capital city. Upon arrival, you will be received with an Indian welcome and our representative will take you to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 – Delhi | Sightseeing

Your journey to India begins today. After the breakfast, we will begin the tour with Old Delhi. This includes a visit to the Chandni Chowk, Jama mosque and Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi’s creamation ground).

After taking a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we will take a tour of New Delhi, driving along Rajpath, Parliament House, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate & Birla Temple.

As the sun sets down, we will drop you back at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 to Day 5 – Calcutta | Travel and Spiritual Tour

Next morning embarks the beginning of your spiritual tour of India as we will leave for Calcutta after breakfast at the hotel. Here, we will be spending 3 days exploring and experiencing the mystical energies of some of the most amazing Ashrams of India.

Belur Math (Sri Ramakrishna) : The ashram represents the very core of the spiritual realizations of the seers and sages of India. Sri Ramakrishna’s whole life was an uninterrupted contemplation of God. He is believed to have reached to the depth of consciousness.

Yogoda Satsanga Math (Paramhansa Yogananda) : In the hundred plus years since the birth of Paramahansa Yogananda, this beloved world teacher has come to be recognized as one of the greatest emissaries of India’s ancient wisdom. His life and teachings continue to be a source of light and inspiration to people of all races, cultures, and creeds.

Additionally, we will cover other spiritual sites in Calcutta, including the Kalighat Kali Temple, St. Paul’s Cathedral Church, The Mother House Of the Missionaries Of Charity (Mother Teresa), Jain Temple and many others.

Day 6 – Varanasi | Travel and Spiritual Tour

On Day 6, we will depart from Calcutta to the holiest city in the world, Varanasi. This is center of spirituality on earth. Located on the banks of the sacred Ganges River, this magical city is inundated with a vibe of mysticism. Upon your arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport and drop you to your hotel.

In the late afternoon, we will visit several local sites across the city, followed participating in the holy Aarti Ceremony in the evening.

Day 7– Varanasi | Spiritual Tour

Early in the morning, you will be on a sunrise boat cruise on the Ganges, exploring the ghats of Varanasi. You will be presented with the incredible tableau of multitudes of devotees paying homage to the Sun God.

This cruise will be followed by breakfast at the hotel, and then a walking day tour of the old city. In the evening, we will visit Sarnath, the place where Buddha gave his first sermon. While there, you will visit the Sarnath Museum, the oldest site museum of Archaeological Survey of India. As the sun goes down, you will be returned to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 – Khujraho | Travel and Spiritual Tour

In the morning of Day 8, after breakfast at the hotel, we will fly to Khujraho, the religious and political capital of the Chandela Dynasty. Upon arrival, our representative will take you to the hotel. For the rest of the afternoon, you are free to relax and enjoy the beautiful hotel grounds, restful atmosphere, and spa services.

After an early dinner, we will enjoy a fabulous sound & light Show on the grounds of the western complex and gets ourselves acquainted with the history and culture of the temples in the city.

Day 9 – Khujraho | Sightseeing and Spiritual Tour

This morning starts with a visit to the Western group of temples. The Western group contains the largest and the most mesmerizing temples of the area. In this group, the Kandariya Mahadev temple, dedicated to Shiva, will be a major attraction. With its elaborate 100-foot-high spire and bands of beautiful carving, it represents Chandela art at its best. Kandariya Mahadev shares a high terrace with the older and simpler Devi Jagadamba temple. This is followed by lunch and shopping at the local market.

In the afternoon, we will visit the main temples in the Eastern group. These temples may be somewhat modest and less ornate than the western temples, but their architectural style reflects the simplicity that is ingrained in Jainism. During the late afternoon break, you will enjoy the traditional Indian tea with Chai Masala with light snack/dessert options. After this, you can enjoy some personal time for walking, contemplating and meditating around the Eastern Complex. We will then drop you back at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10 – Orccha and Jhansi | Travel and Sightseeing + Agra | Travel

The 10th day takes us to Jhansi, stopping en route in Orchha to visit the medieval city founded by Bundela rulers. Orchha is full of beautiful palaces and temples built in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries that have stood the test of time remarkably well.

After this, we will continue on to Jhansi to board the train to Agra, the last capital of the Mughal Empire and home of the one and only Taj Mahal. Upon arrival in Agra, you will be greeted by our representative, who will drop you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 – Agra | Sightseeing

Now comes yet another significant parts of the trip: The Taj Mahal. We will start this day by heading straight to this amazing wonder of the world early in the morning. After you’re somewhat done being wonder-struck by the beauty of the Taj, we will start with the picture session all around the place. Don’t worry, by the time we’re done with the shooting, there will be no spot left to click.

After lunch, we will visit the majestic Agra Fort, just across the river Jamuna from The Taj Mahal. It houses the beautiful Pearl Mosque and many other noteworthy structures. In the afternoon, you are free to relax, shop or explore the city. Overnight at the hotel.

 Day 12 to Day 13 – Jaipur and Ranakpur | Travel and Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel , we will be on our way to Jaipur, famously known as the pink city. You will experience this amazing city with all its beauty and mysticism. We will visit the city palace, Jantar Mantar, the palace of winds- Hawa Mahal, and much more. Overnight at the Hotel with some free free time to relax and explore the city.

Next day we will drive to Ranakpur. As we arrive, you will be taken to the hotel for check-in and relaxing as you get absorbed by the energy of this special place. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 – Ranakpur | Spiritual Tour

On day 14, this spiritual tour to India takes you to the historic city of Ranakpur. Set in a remote and peaceful valley, Ranakpur is the site of the largest and most beautifully preserved Jain Temple in India. The play of light and shadow on the minutely carved figures offers an effect that tantalizes the senses. By evening, we will drop you back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 15 – Delhi | Travel

This day will mark the end of the most beautiful chapter of your spiritual journey. We will take you back to the capital city and drop you to your hotel/ the airport and will wait for your next trip to the magical land of India.

Many people purchase new clothes, electric items, sweets and celebrate the festival with their near and dear ones. The shops get crowded as they offer special deals on various items as the merchants consider that a good sales will bring them a prosperous year. In the evening, the homes are beautifully decorated and Lakshmi Puja is done. After the puja, sweets are distributed among the family members and kids enjoy bursting firecrackers.

In between all the celebration, sweets will be exchanged and there will be a lot of hugs.

Day 4 – Delhi | Departure

After resting and relaxing for a while head to sightseeing tour of Agra covering Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb and Taj Mahal that has left tourist spellbound by its beauty. The Taj Mahal was commissioned by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Day 5: Agra – Jaipur

Post breakfast, leave for Jaipur by road. Upon arrival check-in at one our enlisted hotels. Later in the day explore the major tourist attractions of the city including the Jal Mahal, Jaigarh Fort, Central Museum and Birla Mandir. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Jaipur

The next day begins with an excursion to the Amber Fort which is accompanied with the exciting joy ride on an elephant. The afternoon remains busy with the city tour featuring City Palace along with the Royal Observatory and Hawa Mahal. Enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Jaipur

Day 1

On your arrival at Delhi Airport, one of our representatives welcomes you and assists you in check in at pre-booked hotel. After taking some rest, we opt for half day city tour of Old and New Delhi. During our journey, we visit Jama Mosque, Shantivan, as we pass through India Gate and Raj Ghat. Qutub Minar remains on our charts alogn with Old Delhi’s legends, Red Fort, Embassy area, Jantar Mantar, and Connaught Place.

Day 2

As we finish our breakfast, we move towards the gorgeous hill station, Shimla where you will love pine scented air. You will also enjoy marvelous hills with beautiful Shali peaks. The call of crisp winter skies and fragrant cedar forests will make you go romantic at the outset. Overnight stay is planned in Shimla only.

Day 3

As we finish our breakfast, we go to the beautiful Kufri valley. As it is located 16 kms from Shimla, you will simply love panoramic view of the mighty Himalayas. We will also take you to the most sought after Naldehra, nearly 23kms away. It is the Naldehra that offers a well-groomed nine-hole golf course. We then drive back to your hotel in the evening.

Day 4

Day 5

As we finish our breakfast, we check out from the hotel and go to Manali passing though Kullu valley. We also visit the famous Kullu valley. On the arrival we check in to the hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6

As we finish our breakfast, we proceed to Rohtang Pass. The location of this place is exactly 51 km from Manali. The impressive height of 3978 meters high makes it ever more enchanting. Gateway to the trading routes, the crest of the pass is just amazing and mesmerizing. With a sweeping panorama of mountain ranges, ridges, pinnacles, huge glaciers, precipitous cliffs, moraine and deep ravines, the beauty becomes irresistible. Day 7

As we finish our breakfast, we visit the famous Jagatsukh Nagar Art Gallery along with Hadimba Devi Temple. We also include the Tibetan Monastery as we move towards Vashisht village. This place is known for its hot sulphur springs. It is true that the water of this place is known for its curative values. Overnight stay in Manali is planned.

Day 8

As your finish your breakfast, we make you check out from the hotel and drive to Delhi back.

Day 1 : Kochi | Arrival and Sightseeing

On Day 1 of our Kerala Tour Package, our representative will pick you up and drive you straight to the hotel for check-in. At the hotel, you will be welcomed with fresh coconut water as a traditional welcome drink. Take your time to gear up for the trip, where we will start with the famous St. Basilica Church and the Dutch Palace.

After this, we will return to the hotel for a delicious lunch. After resting for a few hours, we will go for a round-about of the Kochi Airport. Kochi has got some of the most well managed ports in India. Enjoy the lovely view of hundreds of small and big ships and boats waiting for their turn to touch the waters of sea.

We’ll return back to the hotel so that you can spend some time with each other. Dinner will be served in the hotel.

Day 2 : Kochi and Munnar | Travel and Sightseeing

The next day, after a healthy and tasty south Indian or continental breakfast we will set off to the beautiful town of Munnar. If you haven’t heard of Munnar before, it is a popular hill station of the District of Idukki (go look it up on Google). Interestingly enough, Munnar has been a famous summer resort ever since the time when the British were in India.

Due to this fact, there are several reminisces of that era that can still be seen in form of old buildings and houses in Munnar. With 3 rivers flowing in, the town offers a Savannah forest, scenic valleys, splashy waterfalls, sprawling tea – plantations and sky – and touching hills, an experience of nature that sings all around!

As soon as we reach Munnar, we will begin with visiting the tea plantations and then head over to the Tata Tea Museum to see the entire tea making process. This will take up the whole day. In the evening, we will return to the hotel for the dinner and night stay.

Day 3 : More of Munnar | Safari and Sightseeing

The third day will be all about exploring everything else in Munnar. In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit the Ervikulam National Park.

The wildlife at Ervikulam National Park is famous for being home to the endangered Mountain Goat of South India as well as the Nilgiri Tahr. In addition to these exotic animals, Ervikulam has diverse flora and fauna. You will come across epiphytic orchids, wild balsams, Nilgiri langurs, Indian Bisons, Leopards, Tiger and many more!

Also, the lunch will be at a resort in the national park itself. After lunch, we will visit the Matupetty Dam, Anamudi Peak and the echo Point. Later in the evening, you are free to rest in your room or do some shopping in the local market. This will be followed by a dinner and a relaxing night at the hotel.

Day 4 : Munnar and Kumarakom | Travel and Sightseeing

The next morning, soon after taking the breakfast at the hotel, we will be on our way to Kumarakom by road. Kumarakom is most famous for two things – it’s backwaters and Kettuvulumns! It’s a backwater hub located in a cluster of Islands on the Vembanand lake.

On reaching there, you will be welcomed by one the best Backwater Resorts in the area. After the refreshments, we will visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. We will enjoy the first half of the day exploring the wild beauties as they chirp all along. Lunch will be available at the resort.

After the lunch, we will enjoy water skiing/sailing. If you’re not feeling adventurous, you may also spend the evening in the Backwater Resort where the dinner and night stay will be scheduled.

Day 5 : Kottayam and Alleppey | Travel and Sightseeing

On Day 5, we will head towards Kottayam early in the morning. As soon as we reach Kottayam, we will get on the Kerala Houseboats, locally called Ketuvallums, and reach Alleppy. You will spend the whole day on the boat.

On the boat, you will be served dishes prepared in the houseboat kitchen made from the fish coming straight out of the fresh water. You may also enjoy fishing and cooking on the boat. Enjoy the day with fresh coconut water, filter coffee and sitting in the balcony of the boat as it moves with the flow of the Vembanda river. Enjoy dinner and over-night stay in the houseboat.

Day 6 : Alleppey and Kovalam | Exploration

Next morning, soon after finishing the breakfast, we will hit the road to reach Kovalam. On reaching there, you will check into the hotel and relax for a while.

At noon, we will visit the Kovalam beach to enjoy Water Sports like Surfing, Kayaking and Open Sea Water Swimming. The next day, we will visit the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the 108 Vishnu Temples or Divya Desams of South India. The tour guide will tell you with all the historical facts about the place.

After that, we will move on to see Napier Natural History Museum and Sri Chitra Art Gallery, wgere you fill find original paintings by Raja Ravi Verma, Svetlova and Nicholos Roerich.

In the evening, after lunch, we will visit the Ponmundi Hill Station, which is filled with spice and tea plantations, waterfalls and mini zoo with Barahsinghas. For dinner, we will take a calming drive towards the hotel.

Day 8 : Kovalam and Trivandrum | Departure

On the last day of the trip, after having breakfast at the hotel, we will travel to Trivandrum by road to complete the last 16 kilometers of our tour. In the afternoon, we will see you off as you go back home with tons of memories of our trip together.
